You need to show him more than the loyalty feeling towards him, rather than clinging onto him; always. This will not only make him respect you but also makes him commit to the relationship with you.
Don’t pretend to someone else. You have to say how you feel even if you disagree with him. Communicating means a lot in a relationship. Shallow and conceited woman turn men off.
